A new/startup GIS company based in of Southern Maine, Androscoggin Mapping contacted us in early 2009 to create a logo for their new business. They were operating on a tight budget, and wanted to clearly demonstrate the concept of geography, as well as their location within this logo design.
Being a GIS company, they wanted to be sure that the environmental nature of their business was clear through this logo design, as well as their particular focus of “GIS and Spatial Analysis” since it’s incorporated in the company tagline. Three final variations were delivered to Androscoggin Mapping on different colored backgrounds for use on the web and in print projects going forward.
